Commissionaires BC is seeking for a reliable and motivated Security Guard to perform regular building patrols in Lavington, B.C. This role involves frequent walking and stair usage while monitoring assigned areas to ensure safety, security, and compliance with site rules.

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 0700 - 1500
Wage: $22.65 per hour

Some of your responsibilities include: 

Provide superior customer service to our client and site users
Perform regular exterior and interior patrols, including mechanical rooms
Equipment alarm response and monitoring
Provide access control as per site regulations, including issuing of access cards
Investigate security incidents, escalating as necessary
Maintains a safe environment for all personnel and the public
Report all incidences to the Site Supervisor and provide investigation report.

Your Must-Haves: 

A valid BC Security License
Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills
Intermediate to advanced computer skills
Ability to complete continuous foot patrols, walk up and down multiple sets of stairs during your shift
Ability to work in an environment with dust exposure

Your Nice-to-Haves:

Class 5 BC Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract
A valid Basic First Aid certificate (OFA 1)
