Security Guard - Surrey Shopping Mall

Surrey, BC, Canada - Full Time

Commissionaires BC is looking for a security guard to work full time at a mall site in Surrey.

The permanent rotation will see you working Wednesday to Sunday 12pm till 8pm

Payrate: $22/hr

Some of your responsibilities include: 

  • Patrolling interior and exterior of site 
  • Offering first class customer service to both clients and general public 
  • Access Control  
  • Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts  
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports 
  • Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor 

Your Must-Haves:

  • Valid BC Security License 
  • OFA 1
  • You have excellent problem solving skills  
  • You can work under pressure 
  • Able to stand for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions

Your Nice-To-Haves:

  • You have a valid class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract 
  • You have resided in Canada for the last five years (for clearance purposes)

Commissionaires provides security services for over 200 sites and are located in over 110 communities across the province. Our client base runs from the Federal Government to local municipalities, airports, industrial sectors, and commercial/residential buildings.
