Security Officer - Vancouver - Full Time (Federal Courts)
NMSO - Federal Courts - Vancouver, BC, Canada - Full Time
We are looking for experienced officers to work full-time at the Federal Courts (CAS) site in Downtown Vancouver.
Rotation: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
Payrate: $24.50 per hour
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Access Control and Reception duties.
- Responding to inquiries from the public.
- Assisting with set-up of court room proceedings and provide assistance to staff as required.
- Respond to alarms, and maintain a safe environment for all personnel and the public.
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts.
- Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols.
- Safely escorting visitors and personnel when necessary.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate daily records and logs.
- Reviews the daily workbook for pass-over information.
- Liaise with the client on all relevant site issues.
- Maintain an impeccable level of service and professionalism on this high-profile site
Your Must Haves …
- Valid BC Security License.
- Advanced Security Training (AST).
- OFA 1 Certificate.
- 5 years living in Canada for security clearance purposes.
- Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills. Fluent French would also be an asset.
