Bylaw Parking Enforcement Officer - Seasonal (Parks)
Mobile Patrol - Commercial - Coldstream, BC, Canada - Seasonal
Commissionaires BC is looking for bylaw officers for seasonal work this summer in Coldstream.
This role will be to manage parking in the area and enforce and educate on local bylaws.
The positions will run from May 1st until August 31st
- Monday to Friday 11pm till 7pm
- Saturday and Sunday 11pm till 7pm
Your Must-Haves:
- Hold a valid Bylaw Level 1 or be willing to take the course
- Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
- Fluent English; excellent written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public
- Positive attitude with professional demeanor and strong interpersonal/customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail to fulfill job duties and incident report writing
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular vehicle and foot patrols of community parks
- Ensuring that all incidents are properly recorded in the occurrence log/incident form
- Contacting and liaising with police personnel if necessary
- Closely observe parking lots and community areas reporting any occurrences immediately
- Provide superior customer service to clients and general public, providing education on local bylaws
- Maintain ongoing knowledge of and perform all duties with high safety standards
Your Nice-To-Haves:

- Experience in a similar role
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
