Commissionaires services over 200 sites and are located in over 110 communities across the province. Our client base runs from the federal government to local municipalities, airports, industrial sectors, and commercial/residential buildings.
Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment the Recruitment & Operations Coordinator will play a pivotal role within our operations and HR team ensuring that we have the right staff in place to service our client contracts
Full time based out of our Kelowna office Salary: $53,000 per year plus extended health and dental benefits
Major Responsibilities Recruitment:
Executes full cycle recruitment (postings, screening, interviewing, reference checking, offer letters preparation and presentation, all paperwork/administrative processes, on boarding etc)
Submit candidate criminal checks and government of Canada/RCMP security clearance processing
Manages any new hire training requirements.
Represents Commissionaires at local recruitment campaigns, career fairs, etc.
Uses and mains the ATS system (JazzHR)
Assists in running of BST courses in the Kelowna office
Cross departmental collaboration for continuous improvement
Uniforms/Equipment:
Oversee/support inventory, ordering, and distribution of uniforms and equipment, including issuance of uniform/equipment items for new and existing staff
Track issued items and manage returns and replacements as needed
Maintain accurate inventory records and financial tracking
Assist with regular financial reporting
Operations Support:
Manage HomeWatch program, including being main point of contact for clients and monitoring updates/issues
Assist with the running and auditing of our security contracts, including training and compliance reporting
Assist client services team with management of scheduling, forecasting and work force deployment
Assist Client Services team with administrative duties including training, performance and discipline management of front line staff
Skills and Requirements
Previous experience within a high volume recruitment/administration environment is beneficial but not essential
Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines
Customer service driven with mediation & conflict resolution skills
Proven time management and organizational skills
Previous experience using an ATS system (JazzHR preferred but not essential)
Required Security Clearances
Must consent to a Criminal Background Check
Must have been living in Canada for 5 or more years, and be a citizen or PR for clearances required for the role
