Commissionaires BC is looking for dedicated and reliable Security Guards to join our team at an online casino facility in Burnaby, BC. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of staff, contractors, and visitors within the building, maintaining a secure environment at all times.
Shift times:
  • Full time:
    • Mornings (8am till 4pm), afternoons/evenings (4pm till midnight) and overnights (midnight till 8am)
  • Weekends:
    •  Mornings (8am till 4pm), afternoons/evenings (4pm till midnight) and overnights (midnight till 8am)
Payrate: $20.50 per hour

Your “must haves”:
  • Valid BC Security Licence
  • Prior experience working in security, ideally in a casino environment
  • Superior customer service and communications skills
  • High level of attention to detail and dress and deportment
Key Responsibilities:
  • Front desk security, providing high level of customer service to clients.
  • Monitor and patrol the facility to ensure the safety and security of staff working within the building.
  • Ensure only authorized personnel have access to restricted areas and maintain a controlled environment.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents, ensuring the safety of all employees.
  • Manage security systems such as alarms, cameras, and access controls.
  • Provide a visible security presence to deter and report any suspicious activities or threats.
  • Assist with any security-related issues within the workplace, helping create a safe and positive environment for clients.
  • Maintain detailed records of incidents and report any concerns to management.
  • Work collaboratively with on-site staff to address any safety concerns.
