Security Officer - Oxford (Prince George)

Commissionaires BC is currently hiring for a part-time (casual) security guard to work 1 day per week at Oxford Building (Prince George). 

Schedule:

• Friday 7:00AM - 5:00PM 

Your Must-Haves:

• Must be a resident of Canada for more than 5 years as per clearance requirements
• Must pass a criminal record check and not have a criminal record
• You hold a valid BC Security License
• Class 5 Drivers License
• Basic First Aid certificate or willing to take the course
• You have 1-2 years of security experience
• You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• You have proven time-management and organizational skills

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Construction site escorts for trades
• Foot patrols of residential building, interior and exterior
• Maintaining a safe environment for all, handling any crisis situations in a calm and controlled manner
• Offering first class customer service to the client and members of the public
• Access Control
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
• Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
• Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
