Security Guard– Summer RCMP Support Burnaby

Commissionaires BC is looking for security guards to join our casual, on‑call Reserves Division to support summer event security operations alongside the RCMP in Burnaby.

Shifts will vary in location and times so flexibility in availability would be preferred.

Pay rate: from $25.50 per hour

Your Must-Haves: 
  • BC Security License
  • Hold OFA 1
  • Lived in Canada for 5+ years for clearance purposes
  • Availability to work at a variety of sites and locations
  • Excellent communication skills
Some of your responsibilities include:
  • Patrolling various sites/locations
  • Offering first class customer service to both clients and general public
  • Access Control
  • CCTV Monitoring
  • Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
  • Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor

Shifts will be available from April and run until September. We will have work available 24/7 and it will be split into:
-8am till 4pm
-4pm till midnight
-midnight to 8am
