SITE SUPERVISOR - TRANSPORT CANADA (YYF)

Schedule: Varies (avg 30 hours per week)
Wage: $25.03/hour

Would you like to become an integral part of the safety and security team at an airport, help passengers and airport staff with navigating the airport, access control and other security needs. Commissionaires BC is looking for an experienced Security Professional to join our team as a Site Supervisor at the Penticton Airport. If you have previous security experience, excellent communication skills, and are looking to grow your career, we encourage you to apply! 

Must Haves

  • Must have 1-2 years' experience in security
  • Must have 1-2 years' experience in a supervisor's role
  • Valid Security License
  • Basic First Aid Certificate (OFA 1 or equivalent) 
  • Ability to pass and retain security clearances, RAIC and AVOP. Airport security officers are subject to thorough background checks and security clearances.
  • Been residing in Canada for the past 5 years for clearance purposes. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be using a radio and writing reports.
  • Experience in scheduling
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions.

Your Nice-To-Haves: 

  • Class 5 Driver's license and a clean drivers abstract
  • Bylaw Certificate
  • Radio Experience
