Security Officer - Vancouver - Full Time (Federal Courts)

We are looking for experienced officers to work full-time at the Federal Courts (CAS) site in Downtown Vancouver. 

Rotation: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm

Payrate: $25.20 per hour

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Access Control and Reception duties.
• Responding to inquiries from the public.
• Assisting with set-up of court room proceedings and provide assistance to staff as required.
• Respond to alarms, and maintain a safe environment for all personnel and the public.
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts.
• Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols.
• Safely escorting visitors and personnel when necessary.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate daily records and logs.
• Reviews the daily workbook for pass-over information.
• Liaise with the client on all relevant site issues.
• Maintain an impeccable level of service and professionalism on this high-profile site

Your Must Haves …

• Valid BC Security License.
• Advanced Security Training (AST).
• OFA 1 Certificate.
• 5 years living in Canada for security clearance purposes.
• Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills. Fluent French would also be an asset.
