Security Officer - Temporary Full Time - Agassiz

Commissionaires BC is currently recruiting for a security professional to work at Agassiz Research and Development Center. This is a Temporary Full Time position from October 1, 2024 - December 31, 2024. 

Rotation: Monday to Friday 0800 - 1630

Wage: $21.00 / hour

Some of your responsibilities include: 

• Patrolling various sites/locations 
• Offering first class customer service to both clients and general public  
• Access Control 
• CCTV Monitoring 
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts  
• Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports 
• Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor 

Your Must-Haves:

• BC Security License 
• Hold OFA1 
• You have resided in Canada for the last five years 
• You have excellent problem solving skills  
• You can work under pressure 

Your Nice-To-Haves:

• You have a valid Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract 
• Hold OFA 2
