Our mandate is to give back to those who served and continue to serve in our communities and country. Commissionaires provides security services for over 200 sites and are located in over 110 communities across the province. Our client base runs from the Federal Government to local municipalities, airports, industrial sectors, and commercial/residential buildings.

Position Overview
The Sales and Project Coordinator will play a key part in supporting integrated security solutions that combine professional services, technology, and consulting expertise. Your role will be key in the future of our organization and in the sustainability of our mandate.
You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of sales and project activities – including RFPs, RFQs, direct quotes, consulting reports, technology proposals, and contract preparation – while collaborating closely with our experienced Business Development and Project Managers.

You will build a strong foundation in both sales operations and project coordination within a respected, mission-driven organization.
This role is based in Vancouver, BC, with occasional client site visits and a hybrid/in-office work model.
Salary: $50,000/year plus annual bonuses awarded for achieving team sales objectives

Job Responsibilities Include:
Sales Support
- Bidding Platform Monitoring: Assist with reviewing RFPs, RFQs, and direct quote requests to identify potential business opportunities.
- Lead Assessment: Support evaluation of incoming sales leads and help highlight high-potential opportunities to BDMs.
- RFP/RFQ Assistance: Help prepare submissions, organize documentation, and track deadlines
- Contract Preparation & Follow-Up: Assist with preparing contracts and following up to ensure timely execution
Project Support
- Technology & Consulting Reports: Help prepare consulting reports and technology solution proposals
- Operational Planning: Support creation of resource planning spreadsheets, schedules, and project documentation.
- Vendor Communication: Assist with general communications and coordination with external vendors as needed
Cross-Functional Support
- Quote Development Support: Help prepare client quotes under the guidance of the Sales or Project team.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate client, prospect, and opportunity records.
- Client Engagement Support: Assist with scheduling meetings, calls, and site visits with clients and team members.
- Process Improvement Support: Assist in identifying and implementing small workflow improvements
- Ad Hoc Support: Provide administrative or project support as needed

You’ll Learn How To:
- Support RFP and RFQ responses from intake through to final submission
- Assist with building and managing quotes and proposals
- Use CRM systems to track opportunities and client interactions
- Coordinate timelines, documentation, and internal communications
- Collaborate with technology and consulting teams on solution development
Required Qualifications/Core Skills/Knowledge:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
