Reporting to the Senior Manager, Client Services, the Security Mobile Patrol and Fleet Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing our mobile patrol administrative duties and quality control, as well as coordinating regular maintenance and required repairs of mobile patrol and other company vehicles.  Additionally, the candidate should have a strategic and investigative mindset with the ability to review and interpret geo-tracking software and incident reports for quality control purposes.

We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled and experienced candidate for this role with a background in fleet operations, preferably in a security environment.   This role will be 2-3 days per week dayshift, dependent on the requirements of the role.

Payrate: $23.00/hour 
Schedule: Mon & Tues 0800 - 1600 (+Wed if required)


Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Support the mobile supervisor in ensuring mobile patrol guards are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to carry out their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections of patrol routes and security checkpoints, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of security measures into the overall organizational strategy.
  • Utilize technology solutions to enhance fleet management operations, such as GPS tracking, telematics, and real-time reporting systems.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition for patrols.
  • Consistently update vehicle maintenance and repair trackers and spreadsheets.
  • Physically move vehicles to and from sites, including taking vehicles to and returning them from repair shops.
  • Proactively scheduling maintenance and repairs in liaison with shops.
  • Monitor and analyze data related to patrol activities, fleet utilization, and security incidents, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in security management and fleet operations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, to foster effective collaboration and information sharing.
  • Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations related to security and fleet management, ensuring compliance at all times.
Education & Knowledge
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
  • Experience: Proven experience in a fleet coordination and administration/quality control.

Core Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:
  • Hold a valid BC Security Licence
  • Hold a class 5 Drivers Licence and clean drivers abstract
  • Strong knowledge of security procedures, protocols, and industry best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement technology-driven solutions for fleet management and security operations
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in using fleet management software and security systems
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities
